DANIA BEACH ANNOUNCES THE 2015 ARTS & SEAFOOD CELEBRATION BEGIN DOWNTOWN DISCOVERY TOUR EVENT

Dania Beach, FL –The Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (DBCRA) proudly presents the award winning, third annual Dania Beach Arts and Seafood Celebration on Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22, 2015 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days in Frost Park, located at 300 NE 2nd Street in Dania Beach. This FREE event is filled with beautiful art, delicious seafood, exciting interactive creative experiences as well as live entertainment. This year, the event celebration expands downtown with a Begin Downtown Discovery Tour event at City Hall!

The DBCRA, partnering with the Dania Beach Chamber of Commerce, has added an additional event aimed at encouraging visitors to explore and interact with downtown Dania Beach businesses. The “Begin Downtown” event will be held on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors are encouraged to park free in the City Center Parking Garage next to The Dania Beach City Hall located at 100 W. Dania Beach Blvd., where they will receive a free gift, a shopping passport and a map of participating businesses. Participants will visit businesses and receive “passport stamps” and then return to the Chamber booth Downtown or the Information booth at Frost Park to register for the chance to win a major prize! On the greens of the City Center Circle Downtown, visitors can enjoy a marketplace with various vendors, a DJ, a beer and wine garden and light snacks. A free Trolley will connect to the Arts and Seafood Celebration at Frost Park giving all attendees an opportunity to be part of the new Downtown Discovery tour!

Visitors to Frost Park will treat themselves to a variety of seafood and other delectable fare, non-stop music and an assortment of the area’s finest artists and craftspeople. There will be something for those who are young and ‘young at heart’. The weekend celebration will include food vendors, a beverage garden, arts, crafts, music, community entertainment, children’s and family activities and boat displays. One spotlight is the Giant Sand Sculpture professionally created over the two days from over 100 tons of sand in the center of the event.

Plan to stay for the day – also park free at the event and bring lawn chairs and blankets; relax and enjoy the entertainment and food at your leisure. With activities for all ages, there will be something fun for everyone in the family and an easy trolley ride available back to the City Center Garage. The last trolley leaves Frost Park at 8:00 pm on both days.
